- Reptile Cards
Reptile Class Axies or Reptile Axies are best known for their tankiness and at the same time, good damage output. This trait is reflected in their cards as well which give a good balance of both Damage and Defense or shield stats plus some special effects as well. The most commonly used cards for Reptiles include Spike Throw, Chomp, Surprise Invasion and Venom Spray.
Spike Throw | ||
Part | Back | |
Cost | 1 | |
Attack | 80 | |
Shield | 50 | |
Target enemy with the lowest shield when comboed with 2 or more cards. |
Spike Throw targets the enemy with the lowest shield when combo-ed with 2 or more cards making it one of very unpredictable attacks that can quickly destroy the enemy’s backline or midline Axie. This card skips the frontline, which usually has the most shields, and will target damage dealers who usually have very low or no shields.
Chomp | ||
Part | Mouth | |
Cost | 1 | |
Attack | 75 | |
Shield | 50 | |
Apply Stun to the enemy when comboed with at least 2 additional cards. |
Chomp is a card with a devastating effect called Stun. Stun is a debuff that makes Axies miss their attacks during a turn making them waste not just cards but also energy.
Surprise Invasion | ||
Part | Horn | |
Cost | 1 | |
Attack | 80 | |
Shield | 60 | |
Deal 130% damage if the target is faster than this Axie. |
Surprise Invasion is a great equalizer especially in the mid during the late game scenarios. The card’s effect which adds damage when targeting Axies that are faster than the Axie equipped with this card makes it strong against Aquatic and Bird type Axies and can easily turn around matches in your favor.
Venom Spray | ||
Part | Tail | |
Cost | 0 | |
Attack | 20 | |
Shield | 20 | |
Apply 1 poison to target. |
Venom Spray has a very infamous reputation as there are not a lot of cards that can counter its effect. The poison debuff deals damage all throughout the match so unless the opponent has a dispel then they would have to either quickly finish the match or suffer the consequences. Venom Spray is one of the key components to what is called the “Jumping Poison” lineup and thanks to its zero cost it can also be easily comboed with other Reptile cards like Chomp and Spike Throw.
- Plant Cards
Plant Axies are tanky, very tanky and they are usually placed in the frontline to soak up as much damage as possible. A lot of Plant cards focus on providing shields BUT they do have a few hard hitting cards in their arsenal as well. For commonly used cards, the Plant class usually has October Treat, Vegetal Bite, Prickly Trap and Carrot Hammer.
October Treat | ||

Take note that the energy steal will only take effect if your opponent still has energy left and you have to combo this card with another card for the effect to trigger. Also, Vegetal Bite can be comboed with another Vegetal Bite card so you can steal 2 energy and can be very devastating for combo heavy lineups where players tend to skip turns to save up energy so they can play more cards.

Attack | 80 | |
Shield | 40 | |
Gain 1 energy if this Axie’s shield breaks. Can only trigger once per round. |

Prickly Trap | ||

Cost | 1 | |
Attack | 110 | |
Shield | 20 | |

- Beast Cards
Beast Axies are known for their huge damage output and devastating combo setups. Beast Axie cards also have energy manipulation abilities so you can unleash wave after wave of combos against enemies. This helps prevent the enemy team from preparing their combos and since it is a zero energy value card it can be easily used during a round or even comboed with other cards! Speaking of combos and discarding cards, Third Glance also has the same effect as Sunder Claw,but it needs to be comboed with another card first. These 2 cards are best when used orcomboed together, so you can discard not just 1 but 2 enemy cards just by spending 1 energy.

- Bird Cards
Birds are known for their high speed and backdoor abilities meaning that they can skip the frontline and target the enemy backline directly allowing you to have the numbers advantage early on. Bird class cards can also manipulate the tempo and flow of the match thanks to their debuff effects and can even sacrifice themselves to protect more high value teammates. The common cards used in the Bird class include Blackmail, Dark Swoop, Eggbomb and All Out Shot.

Dark Swoop is also known as the backdoor card and lets you target the fastest enemy in your opponent’s lineup. This works best against lineups with Aquatic backliners or damage dealers as Aquatic Axies are the fastest Axie class right next to the Bird class. A Dark Swoop combo can be very lethal and, if not prepared for, can quickly take out enemy damage dealers so you have the advantage early in the game.
Eggbomb | ||

The Eggbomb card helps mainly in manipulating or disrupting the flow of combat by changing attack priorities which can result in removing key Axies from the enemy’s lineup or protecting your own Axies while building up your card combos.
All-Out Shot | ||
Part | Tail | |
Cost | 1 | |
Attack | 110 | |
Shield | 0 | |
Inflict 30% of this Axie’s max HP to itself. |
All Out Shot deals tremendous damage for 0 energy cost however it also deals damage to your own Axie, specifically 30% of its max health. While it can be a desperation move to use this card in a match, the rewards can outweigh the risk as you can maximize your damage output, while still having room to play extra cards.
