A new, massive update comes to Dota 2 as it enters the road to The International. Update version 7.32 brings about huge changes to gameplay including a few new skills and abilities to popular heroes.
New abilities are now available for heroes like Enchantress, Viper, Beastmaster, Centaur Warruner and more. These heroes are accessible using the Aghanim’s Scepter and Aghanim’s Shard upgrades that players can purchase in-game. Aside from new abilities, a few existing abilities receive interesting tweaks as well. Doom’s Doom ability now becomes an Area of Effect or AoE skill when upgraded with Aghanim’s Scepter. Enigma’s Blackhole ability also receives Aghanim’s Scepter tweaks such as additional damage, and a bigger AoE radius.
Aside from skills, Dota 2’s map is also receiving a mini-make over. Uphill ramps are tweaked, specifically the one near Roshan’s pit and the Dire side outpost is now on a new location. The Glyph of Fortification map ability now also refreshes whenever the first tower of each tier falls for that team. Previously the Glyph of Fortification only refreshes its cooldown after any of the Tier 1 towers are destroyed for both teams. A new type of melee creep called the flagbearer is also added in the game. Spawning every second creepwave, the flagbearer provides health regen bonuses as long as it is alive.
A few new neutral items are also added to this version of Dota 2. Neutral items are dropped from neutral or jungle creeps and provide unique bonuses commonly not found in items purchased from the shop. Items like Seeds of Serenity , Lance of Pursuit, Occult Bracer, Eye of the Vizier, Specialist Array, Dagger of Ristul and Ogre Seal Totem are now available. The addition of these new items though also means that some neutral items are going to be removed from the game.
Dota 2 update 7.32 is now live and available for download via Steam. A full rundown of all the changes is available on the Dota 2 website.
